Dear Parent / Guardian:

We are looking forward to meeting your student at 7:30am on Monday August 7, 2017 for the first day of the Freshman orientation.  It is important that your child attends, as it is the foundation to his/her academic program and high school years.  The program will run on August 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, and 24.  The hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon.  Free transportation is provided each day.  Bus stops are as followed:

Please make sure the students are at the bus stop at least 5 minutes prior to the timed stop.  Dismissal is at noon and the bus will transport the students back to the above stops.  All students must be in school uniform – khaki pants or Khaki shorts and a school uniform shirt.  Uniforms are available for sale at the school from 7:30am to 12pm Monday thru Thursday.  Please make sure you purchase uniforms prior to bootcamp.  A cold breakfast and a snack will be provided daily.

During orientation students will become familiar with the school, faculty, their fellow peers, and most importantly be given a head start on their English and Math classes for the year.  On August 24th, our last day, we will invite parents to come celebrate the completion of freshman orientation with an awards ceremony for students.  Look out for a postcard invitation as it comes closer.  Thank you for your continued support in your child’s education.  We look forward to the start of an exciting and rewarding school year!

Sincerely,

Jarred Shaw, Director of Curriculum
